Dynamis

HOW IT ALL STARTED?

Having operated in the solar energy market for a number of years, the founders of Dynamis recognised that the UK needed to change from being a nation heavily dependent on gas. They made the decision to set up a new company focused on reducing the reliance on gas, and focus on full-home renewable energy solutions, with air source heat pumps becoming the star. 
OCT 2017
WE ARE BORN
Dynamis Associates Ltd is incorporated in late 2017 and begins working with Ofgem to become a registered Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive ‘Registered Investor’. 

DEC 2019
APPROVED BY OFGEM
Ofgem approves Dynamis subsidiary as a ‘Registered Investor’. Dynamis’ subsidiary joins consumer code HIES as the first-ever preferred affiliate investor partner.

JUL 2020
FIRST EQUITY RAISE COMPLETED FOR INNOVATION
Successful equity fundraise, with £1.4 Million raised for working capital and tech development. 

SEP 2021
SECOND RAISE COMPLETED FOR INNOVATION AND NEW TALENT
A further £2.5 million is raised to continue our investment in our Heat-as-a-Service and Energy-as-a-Service platforms, whilst hiring a new wave of talent across all levels of the organisation. 
NOV 2021
WE START OUR FIRST LONG TERM HOUSING ASSOCIATION PARTNERSHIP
We successfully launch our partnership with Lochaber Housing Association, working with the organisation to fund, design and install a range of sustainable solutions including air source heat pumps and solar PV. The project involved the engagement and servicing of circa 700 properties.

Our mission is to support the UK housing and property market in contributing towards the UK's Net Zero Carbon goal for 2050. 

We'll do so by supporting the markets to move towards renewable energy technology, and providing their end users with simple, energy management software, allowing them to take control of their utility bills. To do this, we operate to 3 core values:

  3. Empathy with our clients' end users, who we treat as our own customers
We work to these values right through our organisation, from the marketing teams to the design teams to the installation teams. We incorporate it into our induction programmes and our board meetings, making sure we continue to challenge ourselves against these values.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Our operational board continues to grow and we bring in a wealth of industry experience and the expertise required to support us in solving the UK's sustainability problems.

MARTIN SMITH

Martin is the Founder and CEO of Dynamis. He is the former CEO of Sunlight Technology Plc and Aberla Services. Martin is a specialist in designing and securing funding models for our clients.

LOUISE BAILEY

Louise joined Dynamis from Cygnet Texkimp, manufacturers in fibre technology. Louise is a chartered accountant and successfully led the audit team behind the IPO from Manchester United Plc.

MIKE DALBY

Mike is a co-founder of Dynamis and is one of our Company Directors. He has vast experience in the renewable energy sector and a strong passion for data and technology.
