OUR FUNDING MODELS

Enabling you to take the first step

DYNAMIS FUNDING

In 2019 Dynamis became the first Assignment of Rights (AoR) Investor to become registered as a HIES Consumer Code Affiliate Partner. From there we have grown and we now work alongside our clients to support them in accessing funding to ensure they can realise their sustainability plans and reach their net carbon zero targets.
Assignment of Rights

This model is ideal for housing associations or developers who wish to access funding for air source heat pump installations, depending on property type.

Deadline: 31st March 2022
ECO4

For low income or vulnerable households, ECO4 provides funding for a range of measures including home insulation, Solar PV, Battery Storage Systems and Air Source Heat Pumps.

Launch date: 1st April 2022
Power Purchasing

Born in the US, Power Purchase Agreements or PPA's, allow you to access free solar and battery installation for your properties, whilst also locking in energy tariff pricing for a 25 year period.

Status: Ongoing
Boiler Upgrade Scheme

Due to start on 1st April 2022, we still await the finer details from BEIS and Ofgem. The scheme will allow access to £5,000 vouchers to support the upgrading of gas boilers to air source heat pumps.

Launch date: 1st April 2022

HOW DOES THE FUNDING WORK?

Funding can be a difficult area to navigate. Whether its ECO, Social Decarbonisation Funds or Local Authority Delivery Schemes, we can assist you with navigating the process and finding the right funding pots for your project.

Assignment of Rights (AoR)

We will survey your properties using a combination of digital surveying technology and onsite inspection to give us information around the viability of the property for AoR funding, and whether or not ASHPs are the right technology to use.

Following the surveying, heat loss calculations are generated and we effectively design the right sized system and components based on those calculations plus any other information we gain from site.

Depending on the space saving of the property, we can access our funding partners to understand what contributions would be required per property and what will be funded.

With an average retail supply and fit price of £14,500.00 per heat pump in the UK, we find that our AoR model will allow for a much more affordable version for Housing Associations and Developers.

ECO4

ECO4 is the evolution of ECO3. ECO1, ECO2 and ECO2t were previous phases of the scheme and there’s more information regarding these phases on the OFGEM website here. ECO4 will make available government funding for people with eligible benefits.

Where a property has an existing Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) band of F or G the grants will need to improve the rating to at least a D rating.

Where a property has an existing Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) band of band D or E the grants will need to improve the rating to at least a C rating.

The idea is that this approach will increase the number of grants and the energy-efficiency savings achieved.

ECO4 can bring funding for Solar Panels, Battery Storage, Insulation and also Air Source Heat Pumps.

Please contact our team for more information and advice on which funding could be made available.

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

An interesting way to fund your project is to utilise our exclusive Power Purchase Agreement for Solar Panels and a Battery Storage System.

The end user will avoid the costs of having to purchase the equipment and the installation of the equipment. They will instead pay an energy tariff for the energy generated through the system.

The pricing of this energy is favourable when compared to the grid and we provide end users with access to our billing platform which allows them to set up their tariff with ease, and can see their bills itemised on a monthly basis.

Boiler Upgrade Scheme

Domestic homeowner focused, this scheme is effectively the replacement for the government's Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (DHRI) Scheme. This allows the homeowner to access a voucher scheme equivalent to £5,000 per installation.

The goal of the scheme is obviously to encourage homeowners to upgrade their boilers from their current gas or oil boiler, to an air source heat pump.

The scheme is dependant on a number of qualifying criteria, which our team will be happy to take you through in more detail.
